The Baylor game was very disappointing. Pull out that win and we are in the driver's seat for a bye in the first round of the Big XII tournament. Following the game I figured we had virtually no chance of finishing in the top 4 given our challenging remaining schedule and poor tie-breaker position vis-à-vis Baylor and Texas A&M. But after just a few minutes of homework I have a renewed faith in the Tigers

Predict-a-North – 4 Games to Go

With 4 games to go (unless you are an ISU or KSU fan--they have 3 games left) the division is wide open. All 6 teams still have a chance to win the North but only two teams--Kansas State and Nebraska--control their own destiny.
While 4 games might not seem like that many, when you put it all together its 16,384 permutations--that's a lot and damn hard to figure out what can happen. There are over 1200 possible

Toofer Picks – Week 5

You are going to have to trust me on this, while not published the toofers have been making weekly picks this season and doing a pretty good job of it. Through four weeks we have accurately picked 66% of the games against the spread, including an astounding 92% against the spread last week.
Week 5 has a limited slate of games to chose from.

I don’t think you can find a person who would call the Big 12 North anything but a three team race for the title, but exactly how close is that race? I decided to try to figure it out.

At today's KC Tiger Club meeting Dave Matter told the audience about a new site the Columbia Tribune was launching to focus exclusively on Mizzou sports.

Everyone's talking about whether Mizzou will pay Anderson or whether we will let him walk. There's lots of speculation including people saying there is no way that Mizzou could match an offer like the $2M per year Georgia has reportedly offered Anderson. I think it is foolish to rule out any scenario without considering the math.
