Euclid pretty much outlined what has to be done the next few weeks, and this is clearly a monster game for Conference seeding and NCAA Tourney bids. While I don’t want to jinx it, a win gets us to at least 9-7 in the conference which I think is on the right side of the bubble, but 8-8 is clearly on the bubble. Chet should have more on that soon. So what can we expect

The Baylor game was very disappointing. Pull out that win and we are in the driver’s seat for a bye in the first round of the Big XII tournament. Following the game I figured we had virtually no chance of finishing in the top 4 given our challenging remaining schedule and poor tie-breaker position vis-à-vis Baylor and Texas A&M. But after just a few minutes of homework I have a renewed faith in the Tigers

Second Half
19:00 English air ball, but nice rebound by Safford. 4th foul on Lomers 38-35. If Bowers is not on the floor, Safford is our most active player. Why is Keith Ramsey even playing?
17:00 First bucket by Udoh, but Kimmie answers from downtown. 40-38. I like the way this half has started. We are much more aggressive on both ends of the floor. Again, why is Ramsey playing? ON cue, here come Bowers.
15:37 44-42 Baylor.

Live from Waco, here we go. Brad Sham and Miles Simon onthe call. Good, new blood plus I love Miles Simon after they beat KU in the tourney and Brad Sham is the Dallas Cowboys announcer which I love as well.
20:00 Bowers and Denmon not starting. Dammit. Against a team like Baylor, I think you need your best offenive team to start.
17:37 Wow Baylor is tall. I don’t see many points being scored inside the

Really. Miguel Paul is the face of this team. WAIT. Wait, don’t go away. Hear me out.
This article isn’t really even about Miguel Paul. It’s about the character of this team. See, Miguel Paul represents the faceless, selfless player that rotates in and out of this carousel system. Who are you going to remember 10 years from now? There’s no Peeler, Stipanovich or Rush on this team. Denmon, English, Taylor?

Is it wrong for me to think that the Missouri Tigers are now the Missouri Chuckers? Everyone has seen the Seinfeld episode when Kramer calls George “a Chucker” because he just chucks it from everywhere. It’s one of the best episodes because it is also the Keith Hernandez episode. Every time I watch the Tigers now I wonder if this team is just a bunch of chuckers who play great defense, because they are not

That’s a bad loss, for a number of reasons. In a conference that appears to be loaded with eight quality teams, you can’t lose a home game to a team you are fighting for a first round bye in the Big 12 tourney and more importantly an NCAA bid. Just a killer. From tied for second, to fifth just like that. Spots 2-8 are going to change over the next four weeks,

It seems that the new official list (the banner reads 2009, but it’s clearly this year’s guys) is out and there are some Big 12 additions. Last month I wrote of the first official list and our OBK friend Triston pointed out that additions were still to come. Sure enough, though no Tigers were added so it’s hardly very interesting. The new list with additions in italics:
Baylor (2): WR David

As opposed to a dead one, of course. Missouri Student Association President Tim Noce is lobbying for an actual tiger to be present on the sidelines for Mizzou football games. He’s gone so far as to contact breeders about buying a tiger – the going rate is $13,000 for a tiger – and the St. Louis Zoo about renting a tiger six times a year.
I can’t say I’m a big

I hate Travis Ford. I mean really hate him. I know we were going on probation. I know Rick Pitino and his home state school came a calling. I get all that blah, blah, blah. Doesn’t make it any better.
See Travis Ford was my favorite Tiger in 1989. He was on the Big Eight Conference All Freshman team. He hit a monster game winner up in Ames. He was going to be the point guard

Okay, I am not going to dwell on this game too much other than I hate losing to them more than just about anything. We just simply do match up with them very well in any way shape or form. Aldrich kills us, and when you add in the Morris twins, we have no answers. When Sherron Collins goes 2-11 with 6 points and we lose by 20, well that just shows that they are

Cole Adrich announced today that he is dedicating the rest of the season to charity.
With every grunt on a rebound, blocked shot, dunk or free throw, Aldrich will help raise money in the fight against Venereal Disease. “As an experienced grunter whose life has been affected Sexually Transmitted Diseases, it seemed a natural fit. Next year, I heard Lotrimin will sponsor the ‘Scratch Your Balls to fight Jock Itch
