Gene Claude and I predicted probabilities for all the upcoming games and determined the following probabilities for our Big 12 tourney seed:
| 2 seed | 17% |
| 3 seed | 26% |
| 4 seed | 27% |
| 5 seed | 24% |
| 6 seed | 5% |
That is a 71% chance of getting a bye. Much higher than either one of us expected. As we analyze the remaining games it is apparent that we should be huge Oklahoma fans. In order to get a first round bye we really need Oklahoma to beat Texas A&M or Baylor at home.
