AT POWER RANKINGS – Week 11

Posted by Roberto Frankfurter on November 19th, 2009 under Football

I’m watching in amazement as the Buffs give the Pokes all they can handle.  What a bizarre year in college football?!?!?

Although I don’t really care which team wins between Nebraska and Kansas State, I am strangely interested because Kansas State either goes to the B12 Championship game or their season is over.  I’m also interested in OU at TT and whether UT or Mangino will do more damage to the Jayhawks this week.

  1. I guess you didn’t do one of these last week – seems odd that Mizzou would drop a spot after a big road win.

  2. How the hell does Mizzou dismantle K State and drop like a rock?

  3. Yep, sorry. I didn’t think anyone would notice or care so the delta is from week 9. Actually, I was surprised that the Tigers only dropped one spot after a home loss to BU and road win at an over rated KSU. KU was the most interesting swing as Toofers ranked the Jayhawks anywhere from 6th to dead last.

  4. See Roberto, people do read the power rankings.

  5. I think the KU one is a little crazy, they are still better than the dregs. Mizzou bias! Mizzou bias!

Gene, KU has one conference win. It was over ISU at home. Baylor has one win, over MU on the road. CU beat KU and A&M. Iowa State has won 3 conference games. Which dregs are worse than the Jayhawks?

If we had lost to KSU I would have put us last. Per the Big Tuna, you are what your record says you are.

  7. I must admit that I didn’t have KU in the basement, but Chet makes a great point considering KU could’ve also lost to ISU at home if Arnaud could’ve hit a wide open receiver with time running out (I acknowledge that Austin was under pressure).

I hope Spoon, Danario, et al. get a big send off today for their final game in Faurot.
