It’s back and badder than ever.  Step right up and try your hand at the Predictatron!  It will amaze you and dazzle your friends.  It will verify your sweetest dreams or confirm your darkest nightmares.  It, and it alone, holds the answers to all your BCS questions.  And all at no cost to you! 

 Here’s what you do:  (1) Pick lines for the remaining relevant games and (2) Set some parameters for the inevitable SEC/Big 12/USC BCS ranking dispute.

Here’s what Predicatron 2.0 does:  Every other single thing.  Sit back, relax.  We don’t want you worrying your pretty little heads.  The amazing Euclic Pi has built into the Predicatron all of the maths that so confound and confuse the national prognosticators.

You don’t get that many shots in life at peeking behind the curtain to see the Wizard.  Fortunately for all of us, Euclid has given everyone just such a chance with the tabs at the bottom.  Click on your favorite team before you start your yelps of unfairness.

Ground rules for using Predicatron:

• Only edit gray cells.  These are the cells that are set up to receive inputs.  Lines entered must end in .0 or .5 (i.e., 3.5 or 5.0).   Positive lines represent an underdog and negative lines represent a favorite.
• PRESS F9 KEY AFTER MAKING YOUR EDITS TO HAVE THE SPREADSHEET RECALCULATE. 
• The opening page has AT’s best guess at lines in the future, and thus, AT’s guess at the National Championship of Florida v. Texas Tech.
• At the bottom of the model you can toggle between the probability projections (“Model”) and the logic underlying our calculations for every team still reasonably in the running.
• Some might find it easier to use the model in “full screen” mode.
• If you mess something up in the model or would like to restart, simply refresh your browser
