Gene Claude provided us with a roadmap to BCS happiness. This weekend’s matchups include several important games that will shape the national picture, and Atomic Teeth is here to tell you for whom to root if your goal is like ours (or really like any sane person in America) – Mizzou in Miami.

Before I get into all that, Atomic Teeth sent JR Slim as an advance scout to Miami this week to learn the ins and outs so you will be better prepared for the trip. We are looking forward to his report on fine restaurants, nearby churches, nature trails, and the best putt putt golf courses. Luckily, we get a sneak peek of his research. He emailed some photos this morning.

In order to get there, though, it’s important for Tiger fans to root appropriately. As a guideline, GC provided us with:

your rooting orders are as follows:

• AGAINST Penn State. Most important. Illinois win would have been really nice.

• AGAINST Ohio State.

• AGAINST USC.

• When not playing each other, AGAINST UGA, Florida, LSU, Auburn and Bama.

• AGAINST Florida always.

• AGAINST UGA except UGA/Florida

• SEC West OVER SEC East

• Auburn OVER Alabama

The games:

Penn State plays at Wisconsin. This game has lost some of its luster with Wisconsin dropping a couple quickly. Penn State is a five point favorite, but Wisconsin’s a tough place to play. It all comes down to whether the Badger band is back. Root: Wisconsin.

Purdue at Ohio State. Purdue isn’t good and Ohio State looks good with Pryor and Beanie in the lineup. Root: Purdue.

Arizona State at USC. Sun Devils are going out of their way to prove that last year was a fluke. And Rudy is hurt. Root: Arizona State.

LSU at Florida. This one is a little tricky, but based on GC’s learned treatise of scrootiny, we need UF to lose this weekend and then go on to win the SEC Championship game. Root: LSU.

Tennessee at Georgia. Fulmer:

Root: Tennessee.

Oklahoma State at Missouri: I can’t find either of these teams on the list. Please let me know my rooting interests as I actually have a ticket for this game.
